Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

Single membership and access to Arlen are available only to adults age 18 and over. Your birthdate may be collected to confirm adult eligibility and to help personalize your experience.

Some Single features, including future dating, discovery, verification, and select social experiences, may have additional age, identity, relationship-status, eligibility, or verification requirements. General Single membership does not guarantee access to every future feature.

2. Membership and recurring billing

The standard Single membership price is $19 per month, billed on a recurring basis until canceled. Before checkout, you will be shown the applicable price, billing frequency, and any promotion applied to your membership.

If you use a valid promotional code that provides a free or discounted period, the promotion applies only according to its stated terms. Unless you cancel before the first post-promotion billing date, the membership will continue at the then-disclosed recurring price.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your recurring membership through the cancellation method Single makes available to members. Cancellation stops future renewals; access may continue through the end of any already-paid membership period, unless otherwise disclosed or required by law.

4. Single experiences and third-party costs

Eligible members may have access to Single-hosted experiences as they become available. Activities offered through outside partners may have their own participation costs, including sports or league fees, event entry fees, tickets, travel, lodging, food, or equipment. Any such outside costs are separate from the $19 monthly Single membership and will be disclosed before a member chooses to participate.

5. Arlen

Arlen is a private coaching and guidance experience within Single. Arlen is not a licensed physician, therapist, attorney, financial adviser, emergency service, or other licensed professional unless Single expressly states otherwise for a specific service. Arlen's guidance is intended for general informational, reflective, educational, and coaching purposes.

6. Dating and member discovery

Arlen does not select, rank, or choose dating partners for members. Future dating or discovery features, if offered, may allow eligible members to browse profiles themselves subject to separate eligibility, verification, and safety requirements.

7. Member responsibilities

You agree to provide truthful account information, protect your login credentials, respect other members, and use Single only for lawful purposes. You may not harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, defraud, stalk, discriminate unlawfully against, or intentionally harm another member or misuse another person's private information.

8. Member-to-member interactions

Single may use eligibility, identity, or relationship-status verification for certain features, but verification is not a guarantee of another member's character, conduct, intentions, compatibility, health, financial condition, background, or safety. Members remain responsible for deciding whether, when, and how to communicate with, meet, date, travel with, or otherwise interact with another member.

Use reasonable judgment and appropriate precautions when interacting with people you meet through Single. Single cannot control every statement, decision, or action of individual members and does not assume responsibility for private interactions between members except to the extent required by applicable law.

9. Assumption of Risk, Release & Hold Harmless

Participation in Single Mingles, social events, sports, recreational activities, partner-hosted activities, travel, and other in-person experiences is voluntary. These activities may involve risks associated with physical activity, transportation, venues, equipment, food or beverages, weather, other participants, and circumstances outside Single's control.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by voluntarily choosing to participate you assume the risks associated with that participation and agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Single and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, affiliates, event organizers, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from or related to your voluntary participation, except to the extent liability cannot legally be waived, released, indemnified, or limited.

Single does not control independent third-party businesses, venues, leagues, organizations, event operators, transportation providers, or other service providers. Third-party activities may have their own terms, waivers, eligibility requirements, safety rules, insurance provisions, and participation requirements.

Higher-risk activities may require a separate activity-specific waiver or acknowledgment before participation. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable law.

10. Account action

Single may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect members, enforce these terms, comply with law, address fraud or misuse, or protect the integrity and safety of the service.

11. Evolving beta features

During beta and early development, features may be added, removed, changed, paused, or tested. Single will not treat access to an experimental or future feature as a permanent entitlement unless expressly stated.

12. Intellectual property

Single™, Arlen™, associated logos, branding, software, designs, written materials, and original service content are owned by or licensed to Single and may not be copied, sold, republished, or commercially exploited without permission.

13. Changes to these terms

Single may update these terms as the service evolves. When a material update requires new consent, members may be asked to review and accept a new version before continuing to use affected features.
